How to disable automatic "www." prefix in Firefox

Different content on domain.com and www.domain.com (e.g. testing new scripts that have to run under that TLD)? Then you might have experienced trouble acessing the both in Firefox: When you enter domain.com, it will open the www.domain.com content. Same happens with http:// being replaced by https:// Easy fix:

1) Type about:config in address line
2) Search for browser.fixup.alternate.enabled
3) Change the value to false
4) Search for browser.urlbar.autoFill
5) Change the value to false

Important to say, that this disables other possible prefixes/suffixes that are set up in your Firefox. To list them, try search for fixup in about:config page.
